In addition, it is involved in the operation of tramway; wholesale and retail of food and beverage products; laundry and dry cleaning services; and management and consultancy services for clubs. Further, the company offers marketing, and property and hotel investment services, as well as operates golf club and resort. The company was formerly known as The Hongkong Hotel Company, Limited. The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited was incorporated in 1866 and is headquartered in Central, Hong Kong.
